Welcome to Hailes Church

Hailes church is of exceptional historical interest and has internationally renowned late 13th- and early 14th-century wall paintings in both the chancel and the nave.

Unusually, Hailes church has no known dedication. It is a Grade 1 listed building, the earliest parts of which date from the early 12th century.

The Friends of Hailes Church is actively involved in helping to preserve this uniquely important and historic church and its fabric and fittings.

The church is open during daylight hours and visitors are always welcome.
